They say the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. For Eric LeGrand, his dream of playing in the NFL ended after being paralyzed from the neck down.

One could imagine the devastation and despair when a life long goal is no longer possible.

A person of weak faith would lack the ability to find purpose, and likely give up.But not number 52.

LeGrand is still pursuing his degree while working for Rutgers as a sports broadcaster. He often talks to schools and churches about the importance of overcoming adversity, never giving up hope, and believing in yourself and God.

Despite his precarious circumstances, LeGrand has provided a great example to all on the power of perseverance through faith.

Life may not always go in accordance with our desires, but that doesn’t mean it can’t end up better than we planned. So believe in the process of progress. Believe in God to guide you through. And most of all, just BELIEVE.
